VENICE IN WATER-COLOR. WATERCOLOURIST ANDREI STERKHOV. Russian Version
    THE VENETIAN WATERCOLOUR GALLERY

In 1994 Andrew Sterkhov carried out his first trip across Italy to gather material for his creative work; and Venice firmly gripped his heart.
From this point on his development as an artist has been inseparably linked with this marvelous city on the water. One can come to Venice again and again, each time discovering something new and wonderful.
The artist comes to Venice almost every year trying to solve the mystery of its attractiveness. Since 1995 Andrew Sterkhov has collaborated with Venetian art galleries, exhibits his works in Ponte Vecchio Gallery in Florence and in San Giorgio Gallery in Portofino.
Through deliberate and careful working over details, delicate and peculiar colouring the artist reveals to us his image of Venice, in which he attempts to make its past and future meet, embodies its variable and eternal beauty.
